DX3 – New Emerson Commercial AC EXV Emerson is now available
Emerson is pleased to announce the introduction of its new DX3, an electronically operated expansion device that provides precise control of refrigerant flow and system superheat. The DX3 uses a high-resolution linear stepper motor actuator with a “dry” stator, allowing for excellent field serviceability, flexibility, and high reliability.
The patented bi-flow design enables the DX3 to completely achieve equal high MOPD performance in both flow directions while its linear flow characteristics help enhance system stability. Its IP65/IP67 protection rating ensures the DX3’s optimal performance despite severe working conditions while its take-apart design offers flexible inventory management.
The DX3’s unique features and capacity range make it the perfect solution in electric bus AC and heat pumps, commercial heat pumps, modular air-conditioning, and process chillers.
Key Features:
- Uni-polar stepper motor driven with 500 steps
- Bi-flow capability with the same capacity and MOPD in both normal & reverse direction
- Long lifetime, high reliability: 250k cycles’ reliability test
- IP65 / IP67 protection
- Broad capacity displacement: 8/10/12.5/15/20/25 Tons @ R22 application
- Compatible with R22, R410A, R407C, R134a, R32
- CE certification
- Take-apart valve body
