HVAC and Refrigeration Pressure & Temperature Controls
The various functions of pressure controls can be divided into control and protection. Compressor cycling, pump-down or defrost control are examples of control functions, while protection functions include pressure limiting and cut out against excessive pressures, against loss of charge or for freeze protection.
Designed for use on high and low pressure in refrigeration and heat pump systems, the PS1 and PS2 Series are respectively single and dual adjustable pressure controls.
Manufactured especially for OEM needs, the PS3 and PS4 Series are pressure controls with fixed switch point settings.
As for oil pressure safety control used in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning application, the Differential Pressure Controls Series FD-113 senses the effective oil pressure on pressure lubricate compressors and energizes a time delay when necessary.
Adjustable switch point and differential are built into the TS1 Series of mechanical thermostats.
