Our Ethics are guided by our Code of Conduct which is provided:
- To guide employees so that their business conduct is consistent with the company's ethical standards; and
- To improve the understanding of the company's ethical standards among customers, suppliers and others outside the company.
Questions or concerns regarding an ethical situation, potential employee misconduct, violations of the Copeland’s Code of Conduct, and procedures should be addressed with the Business HR Ethics Officer or reported to the ethics hotline.
Such situations may include, but are not limited to:
- Accounting or auditing issues
- Bribery/ Extortion/ Inappropriate Gratuity
- Conflict of interest
- Efforts to conceal non-compliance with a company procedure, standard, or policy
- Embezzlement
- Excessive personal business on company time
- Knowing non-compliance with applicable laws or regulations
- Misstatement of official company records
- Misuse of company assets
- Release of confidential information
- Retaliation, Harassment, or Discrimination
- Safety, Health, or Environmental issues
- Theft or Fraud
- Travel expense reporting violations
The ethics hotline is accessible globally by web, mobile or phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Copeland employees, former employees, contractors, customer, vendors and external parties can contact the ethics hotline anonymously, and all calls are confidential.

If you elect to report your concerns using the hotline number, a trained specialist employed by an outside company will listen to your concerns (in almost any language) and prepare a report. The report will be forwarded to the appropriate Copeland parties for investigation.
Non-Retaliation Policy
We all have a responsibility to bring forward concerns of misconduct. Copeland will not tolerate prohibiting or restricting the reporting of theft, fraud, waste or abuse of materials, persons or property by Copeland employees or contractors. Furthermore, Copeland will not allow retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, raises a concern, reports suspected misconduct, or provides information related to an inquiry of suspected misconduct. The company will investigate any instances of possible retaliation and discipline employees who have retaliated against someone who has reported possible misconduct.
